A Few of my Favorite Things in Indy

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Indianapolis. I’ve seen many people move to other cities for college, their career, or just for the simple fact that they wanted to experience something new and different, but I found myself coming right back to this little, big city after undergrad. Needless to say, I’ve been to plenty of places and have experienced many things in Indy and below are some of my favorites!
Circles Ice Cream
I found out about Circles Ice Cream through my sister and have been hooked ever since. They have flavors you can’t find anywhere else, including Coffee Cake Crumble, Spicy Hot Chocolate, and my favorite, Banoffee Pie. One of their new flavors is Cookie Milk, a cookie milk ice cream with chocolate chip cookie crumbles and chocolate ganache, and I’m dying to try it. While you can’t actually visit this place, yet, you can find their delicious ice cream in local shops around Indy or you can order directly from their instagram or their website (www.circlesicecream.com/delivery) and they will deliver it right to your door! They are in the works of opening their own ice cream shop. I can’t wait!

Dawson & Daisy
This place has honestly become a new obsession of mine. There’s nothing better than a charming little boutique where you can find all of your favorite fashions. From rompers to chic purses to even car accessories, this place offers a wide variety of everything a girl would want. What I love even more about this place is their Do Good Thursdays. Every Thursday the company donates 10% of that day’s sales to an organization/group. I’m all for giving back to the community so this place basically has my heart.

Penn and Beech
I visited this cute candle shop for the first time for my mom’s birthday this past April. Not only do they just sell candles, but you can make your own too! With over 100 different scents, you can mix and match oils to create a fabulous smell unique to you. I mixed goji berry and pineapple and who knew these two scents together could create such an amazing smell. While I only chose two, you can pick up to three scents for your candle. This hour experience was the perfect outing for my mom’s birthday or for any day really. You can also make a spray or reed diffuser if candles aren’t your jam.
